The Curriculum of Austin Adventist Junior Academy

The aim of our teachers at Austin Adventist Junior Academy (AAJA) is to prepare young people to become Christian leaders in their communities and to prepare them for Heaven.

The Austin Adventist Junior Academy's academic program is designed for able, motivated young people who plan to continue with their education through college. Much is asked of these young people in terms of time, dedication, and effort. In return, they receive a world-class Christian education from teachers who are deeply committed not only to teaching but also to the success and well-being of their students. Small class sizes and personal interaction with faculty, both in and out of the classroom, ensure that every student can develop his or her potential to the fullest.

The foundation for these goals is the school's enhanced rigorous academic program.  Adventist education has long been acknowledged as a national leader in christian education, and graduates consistently go on to study at the country’s most prestigious colleges and universities.  At AAJA strong academics, Christian discipleship, and leadership come together. Teachers at AAJA utilize the North American Education Division curriculum manuals to develop the local curriculum based upon the needs of our student population.  Please review the key learning outcomes and curriculum guides.

Please contact Ms. Rhonda Hight with any questions regrading the curriculum at AAJA.
